Keewaydin Island is a barrier island bewteen Naples and Marco Island! This island is loved by our locals that enjoy heading out and spending the day on the water with family and friends. We highly recommend this as a MUST DO for visitors, as you will have an amazing day living the Florida life!
WHAT TO EXPECT
Escape to paradise and enjoy a day on the water, hanging out on the beach, swimming, floating, shelling, birdwatching, exploring and
spotting dolphins.
Since the island is untouched, there are no amenities offered, so be sure to bring an umbrella if needed, beach chairs, towels, sunscreen, bug spray and a float if you like.
The island has food boats that offer concession between 11am-3pm. On their menu, you will find burgers, hot dogs, brats, sandwiches, ice cream and drinks! Please know that you may have to walk down the beach to access the food boats. You can also pack a lunch and it's always a good idea to bring some snacks and waters for your trip!
Also there are no bathrooms or lifeguards.
